I have had my apple peeler corer for nearly a year. I use it on a regular basis, this contraption is a godsend. Now I don't have to peel core and slice my apples by hand. In a matter of 10 seconds I have a perfectly sliced apple. Perfect for baking pies too... I love how I can make pie-filling in 5 minutes rather than 30 minutes or so. Does do potatoes, but not as easy... and you waste the core if you use the slicer mechanism. (unless you do as I do and just slice the core and fry it too)Perfect for those with carpal tunnel or arthitis, it is easy to use, easy to clean and perfect for a quick snack! Word of caution, do not emerse into water, the suction cup will tend to lose its ability to suck, but will eventually have suction again... All it takes is a warm soapy rag and running water to clean. One last downfall... if you loosen the wing nut, it cannot be hand tightened, or the slicer corer will move, it is hard to get re-aligned also, but will a little work it can be done... recommend to use plyers to tighten the wing nut after aligned.

I have had this great product for 6 years with no problems! Was unable to find a replacement in those supposed 'specialty appliance' stores. Glad to see it can now be found at Target. Yay Target!

This works so well, I was telling everyone they should get one! The suction works great I think it's much better than the clamp to the table kind. This is also the same one that Williams Sonoma sells, they just customized the outer packaging, but it's the same brand and product.

I had an apple peeler, just like the one I ordered from Target. It broke and I needed to replace it. The peeler is wonderful, and I search the internet to find the same one. I was happy to find it at Target.

This thing is so awesome! We love it. It pretty much does all the work for you. It peels, cores, and slices! We use it on a daily basis. It is definitely worth the buy!

Soft apples cannot be peeled with this due to the fork section not being able to turn the apple without tearing through the apple. It works well with firm apples. I did not have a lot of luck with potatoes, they were too irregular in shape. The peeler sticks well to the table with the suction cup, you may need to dampen the suction cup first. Over all I like the peeler for peeling firm apples and I am satisfied with the peelers' performance.

On perfectly crisp apples, this peeler works beautifully...you do indeed get peeled, cored, sliced spirals of apples in seconds. However, if the apple is the least bit soft, the blade just mushes into the fruit. And on potatoes, which are usually not perfectly symmetrical, the peeler can peel only one side, but not the other. So it's quite frustrating to get through one apple in seconds, but spend 5-10 minutes mushing a half-dozen more.

This was just what I wanted. What I really liked about this peeler is that it suctions to the counter instead of being the clamp kind. Not only is it great for peeling apples, it greatly reduces the peeling time for hashbrown potatoes. Definitely a convience item you have to have.
